That is the legal entity behind the app you are using — the one that holds your account, processes your payments, stores your data, and that you can write to if something goes wrong.
This page exists because we think you should know who you are dealing with before you trust an app with anything that matters to you, and a spiritual-practice app is asking for more trust than most.
What SuperStudies does
SuperStudies builds products that help people develop themselves with AI as a guide rather than a replacement. The thesis is straightforward: serious self-development — academic, spiritual, professional — has always needed a teacher who knows you, watches your work, and adjusts the next step. Most people, most of the time, do not have access to that teacher. Modern models can close part of that gap if they are pointed at a real curriculum and held to it.
Sohamlab is the spiritual-practice product line. The other lines sit in adjacent education and self-development domains — school-age learning, exam preparation, skill-building. They share infrastructure, account systems, and a house style; their content and audiences differ.
Why this matters for trust
Three practical things follow from there being a real company behind the app:
- Your data is handled under UK and EU rules. Personally identifying information — birth times, birth places, names of children on the account — is encrypted at rest. The legal basis for processing it sits with a registered company you can look up at Companies House.
- Your payments go through a known entity. Subscription charges appear on your statement as SuperStudies, not as a stranger. Refund and dispute paths are the standard ones.
- There is somewhere to write to. If you have a privacy question, a billing problem, or a complaint about the content, it goes to a real address with a real person reading it. Anonymous side-projects cannot offer that.
We say this plainly because the spiritual-tools space has a long history of teachers and apps that disappear when something goes wrong. We would rather you know the boring legal facts up front than discover them in a bad moment.
