Everything Sohamlab produces — astrology readings, Muhurta picks, Remedy suggestions, AI Spiritual Guide responses, Karmic Genome, Sadhana plans, journey articles — is for educational, reflective, and entertainment purposes only. It is not professional advice and must not be relied upon as a substitute for a licensed and regulated practitioner in any field — medical, psychological, psychiatric, financial, legal, marital, or otherwise.

For any decision that meaningfully affects your health, finances, relationships, family, or legal standing, please consult a competent, licensed, regulated expert in that field. Sohamlab does not, will not, and cannot replace such professionals.

Sohamlab draws on many living spiritual traditions (Vedic, Tantric, Buddhist, Christian contemplative, Sufi, Stoic, and others) with respect and gratitude. We do not claim that any tradition is THE truth, nor do we intend to misrepresent, devalue, or commercially exploit any tradition's doctrines, rituals, or living lineages. Cross-tradition pairings (e.g. Hanuman Kavach alongside Psalm 91) are reflective parallels offered when the seeker themselves has chosen that tradition — never as theological equivalence.

0. Alpha Programme — Free, No Charges, No Card Required

SuperStudies is currently in Alpha. This is an early, evolving release. By using the Service during the Alpha period you acknowledge and accept that:

Free of charge: Access to the Service is currently free. No subscription fees are charged.
No payment instrument required: You will not be asked to enter real credit-card or bank details to use the Service. If a Stripe checkout flow is shown anywhere on the platform during Alpha, it is for testing purposes only — no funds will be taken from any payment instrument.
"As is" — no warranty of any kind: The Service is provided strictly "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, reliability, or non-infringement.
No liability for consequences: To the maximum extent permitted by law, SuperStudies Ltd accepts no responsibility and no liability for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential or exemplary loss arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Alpha Service — including but not limited to practice outcomes, missed reflections, lost journal entries, lost generated content, or reliance on AI-generated guidance. Nothing in this clause limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot be limited under UK law.
Active development: Features may be added, changed, broken, downgraded, or removed at any time without notice. Data, accounts, practice plans, journals, Karmic Genome models, or the entire Alpha environment may be reset, migrated, or deleted at the end of the Alpha period with reasonable email notice.
No SLA: We make no service-level, uptime, or availability commitment during Alpha.
No automatic conversion to paid: If we launch a paid tier in future, conversion to that tier requires your express opt-in. Continued use of the Service after Alpha ends does not, by itself, create or imply any paid contract.
Subscription clauses below apply only when payments go live: The pricing, billing, refund and cancellation provisions in §7 take effect only once paid tiers are activated and only for users who expressly opt in to a paid plan.

1. Introduction

Welcome to SuperStudies® ("we", "our", "us"). These Terms & Conditions govern your use of our website and platform located at www.superstudies.co.uk ("the Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Company Information

SuperStudies® is a registered trademark of SuperStudies Ltd, a company incorporated in England and Wales (Company Number: 16694082). Registered office: 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom.

3. Practice Content Accuracy & Responsibility

3.1 Nature of Practice Content

Sohamlab's content includes daily-sadhana guidance, AI-drafted topic guides for the foundational course (the "Cosmic Navigator"), archetypal frameworks drawn from many living traditions, astrological surfaces (Vedic Jyotish primary), and a Karmic Genome model derived from your birth chart and lived events. Course material is authored against a documented voice brief, grounded in our internal whitepaper on the Cosmic Stack, and synthesised from Buddhist, Christian contemplative, Vedic, Stoic, and Aurobindo-school sources, alongside other living traditions that point at similar concepts. Vedic astrological calculations follow standard Lahiri-ayanamsa Jyotish conventions; we publish our methods.

3.2 No Religious or Authoritative Endorsement

Sohamlab is an independent practice tool and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or licensed by any religious tradition, lineage, school, monastery, ashram, mosque, church, temple, or fellowship. Where we name a tradition (Vedic, Buddhist, Christian contemplative, Stoic, Aurobindo, etc.) we do so as a source we take inspiration from, not as a system we represent. Other living traditions point at similar concepts; we honour them without claiming to teach any. No tradition is claimed as the truth.

3.3 Practitioner Responsibility to Verify

You — the practitioner — are responsible for cross-checking anything material before acting on it. This is especially important where guidance touches health, mental health, relationships, finances, or significant life decisions. Sohamlab is a practice tool, not a religious authority, medical practitioner, mental-health practitioner, financial adviser, or fortune-teller. The Karmic Genome and daily Compass surface field-quality of windows; they do not predict events or outcomes.

3.4 Custom Content & User-Uploaded Material

You may upload personal practice notes, reflections, custom mantras, lineage texts, journals, or other material via the in-app upload features. We recognise that some of this material may originate from teachers' instructions, lineage-issued texts, books, or third-party publishers. By uploading or pasting such material into Sohamlab, you confirm and agree that:

You are using the material solely for your own private, non-commercial practice and reflection, which we believe falls within the UK "fair dealing for private study" exception (Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988, s.29).
You — not SuperStudies — are responsible for ensuring you have the right to use the material in this way. If your teacher, lineage, or a third-party publisher restricts or prohibits such reuse, you must not upload it.
You are responsible for the accuracy, completeness, and lawfulness of the material you upload.
You will not upload material that is defamatory, obscene, harmful, infringing, hateful toward any tradition or community, or otherwise unlawful.
Indemnity: you agree to indemnify and hold harmless SuperStudies Ltd, its officers, employees, and contractors against any claim, demand, loss, cost, or damage (including reasonable legal fees) arising from material you upload, including any third-party intellectual-property or confidentiality claim relating to lineage-issued or publisher-issued content.
No redistribution: uploaded content is private to your account. We do not share it with other users, sell it, publish it, or use it to train any AI model (see Privacy Policy §3 for the equivalent commitment on practice data).
Take-down: if a rights-holder contacts us with a credible objection, we may remove the material from your account on notice to you.

3.5 Limitation of Liability

SuperStudies shall not be held liable for any divergence between Sohamlab's content and the doctrines, instructions, or expectations of any specific lineage, teacher, or tradition, nor for any practice or life outcomes resulting from reliance on the practice content provided.

4. Disclaimer of Outcomes and AI Interpretation

4.1 No Guarantee of Spiritual, Practice, or Life Outcomes

Sohamlab provides digital tools, AI-drafted guidance, archetypal frameworks, and astrological surfaces to support a daily practice. However, we do not guarantee any spiritual realisation, awakening, healing, life outcome, financial outcome, or change in circumstance. Practice unfolds over years, depends on a multitude of factors well outside the scope of any app, and is properly held alongside qualified teachers, communities, and (where relevant) medical or mental-health professionals.

4.2 Interpretation of AI Tools

The AI Spiritual Companion, daily Aspire / Reject / Surrender prompts, AI-drafted topic guides, Karmic Forecast, and other AI-driven features (collectively, "AI Tools") are intended for supportive guidance only. AI Tools must not be relied upon as a primary or sole source of spiritual direction, medical advice, mental-health support, financial decision-making, or factual information.

Cross-checking is essential: Cross-reference any AI-generated explanation, claim, mantra, translation, astrological reading, or recommendation against an authoritative source — a qualified teacher, a translated primary text, your own discernment — before acting on it in any consequential way.
AI Limitations: AI-generated content may be inaccurate, incomplete, out-of-date, culturally tone-deaf, internally inconsistent, or simply wrong ("hallucination"). This is an inherent limitation of current AI systems and not a defect we can warrant against.
Practitioner Interpretation: SuperStudies cannot be held responsible for how you interpret, paraphrase, internalise, or act upon the guidance provided by our AI Tools.
Not a substitute for human practitioners: AI Tools do not replace a teacher, guru, therapist, doctor, or qualified counsellor. The Companion will redirect questions about medical, psychiatric, or significant legal/financial decisions to qualified professionals, even when the seeker frames them spiritually.
Safety filters are best-effort: Our AI Tools include automated safety filtering to reduce the chance of harmful, manipulative, or culturally insensitive output, but no filter is perfect. If you encounter content that appears unsafe or inappropriate, please report it to admin@superstudies.co.uk.
Third-party AI providers: We rely on third-party AI providers (Anthropic, Google Gemini, OpenAI). Outages, model deprecation, or policy changes by those providers may degrade or remove AI features without notice.

4.3 Responsibility for Personal Practice

Sohamlab can structure a daily rhythm and surface field-quality readings, but the "source of truth" for your practice is your own attention, discernment, and (where you have one) your relationship with a teacher or community. Sohamlab is not responsible for divergences between our guidance and the instructions of your teacher or lineage; in any such conflict, your teacher's instruction should ordinarily take precedence.

4.4 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SuperStudies Ltd shall not be held liable for any direct, indirect, or consequential damages, including but not limited to:

Spiritual disappointment, lack of progress, or failure to reach any specific state, attainment, or experience
Misunderstanding or misinterpretation of AI-generated guidance, explanations, or astrological readings
Inaccuracy or incompleteness of practice content, archetypal mappings, or Karmic Genome predictions
Any life, relationship, financial, health, or career outcome

All tools and content are provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

4.5 Sohamlab does not provide regulated professional advice

For the avoidance of doubt, the following specific carve-outs apply across every Sohamlab surface. Each is set out at full length on our Disclaimer page:

Financial information is not financial advice. Sohamlab content touching money, wealth, investments, business timing, contracts, or jewellery purchase is not regulated financial advice. Sohamlab is not authorised by the UK Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) or any equivalent regulator. Before any meaningful financial decision, consult an FCA-authorised independent financial adviser (or the equivalent in your jurisdiction).
Health information is not medical advice. Sohamlab content touching the body, vitality, fasting, sleep, surgery timing, or any health matter is not medical advice and is not produced by a licensed medical practitioner. Never start a fast, change a treatment, schedule surgery, or alter any health practice on the strength of Sohamlab output. Consult a licensed regulated doctor, Ayurvedic vaidya, or equivalent practitioner.
Relationship and mental-health information is not therapy. Sohamlab content touching relationships, partnership, family, parenting, emotional life, or mental well-being is not therapy, counselling, psychiatry, or clinical psychology. If you are experiencing relationship distress, mental-health crisis, or suicidal thoughts, please contact a licensed therapist, your doctor, or a crisis hotline (see the crisis resources on our Disclaimer page).
Legal information is not legal advice. Sohamlab content referencing court filings, contracts, wills, or any legal act is not legal advice. Consult a solicitor or regulated legal professional in your jurisdiction.

4.6 Religious and cultural respect

Sohamlab draws deeply and gratefully from many living spiritual traditions. Our explicit position:

We draw heavily and respectfully from these traditions; our curriculum is a synthesis, not the doctrine of any single lineage.
We do not claim that any one tradition is THE truth.
We do not intend offence, devaluation, or appropriation of any tradition, deity, mantra, scripture, ritual, or living lineage. If anything on the service inadvertently misrepresents a tradition, please contact us and we will correct it.
We do not advertise, market, or commercialise any specific religious tradition as superior to another.
Cross-tradition pairings (e.g. Hindu kavach alongside biblical prayer) are reflective parallels surfaced only when the seeker has chosen the relevant tradition — never as theological equivalence claims.

5. User Accounts

To use the Service you must register for an account.

Self-registration is restricted to adults aged 18 or over. When you sign up you are asked to confirm that you are 18+, that you are the parent or legal guardian responsible for any student account being created, and that you have read these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
Children under 13 cannot self-register. A parent or guardian must create an account first and then add the student via the "Add a student" option on the parent dashboard. The act of adding the child constitutes parental consent under UK GDPR Article 8.
Students aged 13–17 may use the Service on a parent or guardian's account; we expect parental oversight to be in place.
SuperStudies enforces a single active session per account. Signing in on a new device automatically signs you out of any other device. Login credentials are personal and must not be shared, even within a household.
You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service
Share your account credentials with others
Upload harmful, offensive, or infringing content
Interfere with or disrupt the integrity of the Service

7. Subscriptions, Payments & Cancellation

SuperStudies offers tiered paid subscriptions (Silver, Gold, Platinum). Pricing is shown on the pricing page and is in pounds sterling (GBP) inclusive of any applicable VAT. Payments are processed by Stripe; we do not see or store full card details.

7.1 What you'll be charged

Before checkout you will be shown the exact amount payable today, the renewal cadence (monthly or yearly), and the renewal price. Subscriptions auto-renew at the same price unless cancelled. You can review the active plan and renewal date in your billing dashboard.

7.2 Cancellation

You may cancel at any time from the billing dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period — you keep full access until that date and are not charged again. Cancelled subscriptions can be reactivated up until the period end.

7.3 14-day right of withdrawal (Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013)

Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 you would normally have 14 days to withdraw from a digital-services contract. SuperStudies is delivered immediately on payment, so the law lets you waive this 14-day right in exchange for that immediate access. The pre-checkout disclosure shown to you before payment requires you to expressly tick a box agreeing to start the service straight away and waive the 14-day withdrawal right. We record the time at which you ticked that box on your subscription record. If you do not waive the right, you can request a refund within 14 days by emailing admin@superstudies.co.uk; refunds in this period will be issued on a pro-rata basis less the value of the service used.

7.4 Refunds outside the 14-day period

Once the 14-day period has passed (or the right has been waived), subscription fees are non-refundable for partial periods. If the service is materially broken or unavailable for an extended period, contact us — we will assess refund requests in good faith.

7.5 Price changes

We may change subscription prices in future. Any change will be communicated by email at least 30 days in advance and will only apply at your next renewal — you can cancel before the new price takes effect.

8. AI-Powered Features

The Service uses artificial intelligence to support practice — including the AI Spiritual Companion, AI-drafted topic guides, daily Aspire / Reject / Surrender prompts, Karmic Forecast, and other tools. AI-generated content is for supportive guidance only and is not a substitute for a qualified teacher, therapist, doctor, or counsellor. We do not guarantee the accuracy of AI-generated responses. See §§4.2 and 8a for the full position.

8a. AI-Generated Spiritual Guidance

The AI Spiritual Companion, daily Aspire / Reject / Surrender prompts, the Karmic Forecast pipeline, and AI-drafted topic guides are produced by AI models (currently Anthropic Claude and Google Gemini). Their output is shaped by a Sohamlab voice brief and grounded in our own course content plus your practice context — but it remains AI output, with the limits AI output carries:

It can be wrong, dated, culturally tone-deaf, or internally inconsistent.
It is not a substitute for a teacher, guru, therapist, doctor, financial adviser, or any other qualified human professional. Where a question touches health, mental health, money, or law, the Companion will redirect to qualified humans even when the question is framed spiritually.
Conversations with the Companion are stored against your account so that the Companion can hold context across sessions, but are never used to train, fine-tune, or evaluate AI models. See our Privacy Policy §3 for the equivalent commitment on study data.
Astrological surfaces (Karmic Genome, Compass, Forecast) surface field-quality of windows — not predictions of events. They are not fortune-telling, and we ask you not to rely on them as if they were.

9. Intellectual Property

All content, design, graphics, and software on the Service are the property of SuperStudies Ltd or its licensors and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written consent.

10. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranty of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

While we work hard on accuracy and availability, we make no representations or warranties regarding the accuracy, reliability, completeness, or timeliness of any content or features, and we may add, change, or remove features as the product evolves.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SuperStudies Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with the use of the Service. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot be limited or excluded under UK law.

11. Data Protection

We process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR). See our Privacy Policy for full details.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify registered users by email of any material changes. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
